Marie June 06, 2021 for Model Number JES9860AAB My range started having an issue with the digital screen completely shutting off during the preheat or cooking phase for the oven. I could program the oven and the panel would go black and the oven stop. Sometimes it will come back on and ask to reset clock, then start the baking process all over. I never could predict when the panel would black out. No error code, but several times it would say "power interruption". I was told it is not repairable because it needs a new circuit board. Just wondering if it might be something else? Shorting out somewhere?

Ed November 17, 2016 for Model Number JES9800AAS Now I have the F-7 error message and before that several of the numbers were not working for a few years so i assume i need to replace the WP74005747. WP74005747 / WP74005747 it is usually due to a failed keypad circuit or damaged deteriorated key pad and/or ribbon. It is a very "doable" repair. 1. Remove power from unit. 2. Open oven door and remove screws securing control panel. 3. Remove screws located on the right and left sides of the control panel. 4. Grasp control panel on the far left and right gently pull the control panel out and down. NOTE: Gently pull control panel out and down. 5. Remove infinite switch control knobs, infinite switches, indicator lights, rocker switches, and electronic control/clock (as necessary) and transfer to the new control panel. 6.
