Robert for Model Number wfw8400tw02 I'm getting f28 error code. I've ran all the diagnostics and checked the connections. I pulled both the ccu and the mcu. The mcu has several badly burned circuits on it. My question is what are the chances of the motor having something wrong with it? I hate to spend this much money and then have another problem. Answer Robert, It would be more likely that the mcu having burnt circuits would be the issue with the unit and not likely that the motor having an issue. You can test the resistance of the motor windings to see if they are good by checking across pins 1 to 2, 1 to 3 and 2 to 3 and there should be approximately 6 ohms.
