Luke H for Model Number WFW8500SR00 I have a Whirlpool Duet Sport HT washing machine. It does not go into the high spin mode at the end of the wash cycle. At the end of the cycle, the clothes are still soaking wet. It does spin, but quite slow. I've ran through all of the diagnostic tests, and it gives no error codes. The drain pump kicks in, and it is clean/clear. In the diagnostic mode, the high spin/drain works fine, but in a normal wash cycle, it does not work. After some reading from other people who have had the same problem, they have had to replace the MCU (motor control unit). Does that sound right? I'm thinking this is the part: W10163007
