Robin for Model Number WFW8300SW0 I replaced the CCU but my washer will not spin on Low/Medium Speed (only spins on High) and I'm not receiving any Error/Fault Codes. I have a multimeter and need to know which terminal pin's to test on the MCU (AP4362572) for continuty/ohm's (include number of ohm's) and which wire's (located on the wire harness that connects from the CCU to the MCU) to test for AC/DC Voltage at the MCU (include AC or DC and correct reading)?
Answer Hello Robin. Test across the motor terminals 1 to 2, 2 to 3, and 1 to 3, you should read around 6 ohms. If not, then the motor WPW10140579 is bad. If it is good, you will test for power coming to the motor on pins 1 to 3 and 1 to2. If the power is not there, replace the MCU WPW10197864. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
