Julie, The IDI dispenser uses a two direction motor to dispense the ice. When Cubes is selected the motor turns counterclockwise and the cubes fall through the chopper blades and aren't chopped up. When Crushed is selected the motor turns clockwise and the cubes are pushed through the chopper blades and the cubes are chopped up. At this point you most likely have a defective dispenser motor W10822606.
