Todd for Model Number KUDIO1FLSS6 I have a kitchen aid dishwasher and there are no lights on the control panel. I checked with a multi meter and I have 120v to the appliance. Furthermore I checked the thermal fuse and it's correctly reading closed. I also checked the voltage at the thermal fuse and it's 120v. About a week ago I replace the main water pump (old one was leaking). Everything was working well but after running it 3 times with the new pump it quit in the middle of the cycle and there are no lights at the control panel. From reading the posts on the forum and on your site everything seemed to point to the electronic control board (pn 8564543). I ordered that from your site and replaced it but there are still no lights on the control panel. What should I try next?
Answer Hello Todd. The thermal fuse 8193762, even though it is testing good, it most likely failing under a load and will need to be replaced with the new wiring sent with it. It is commong to test good but fail under a load. You can test for power passing through it but be carefula dn do not get shocked. Read More...
