Russ for Model Number KUDSO1IJWHO I have a KitchenAid diswasher model KUDSO1IJWHO. Unit will not start. The only lights that will come on are the BAKED ON COOKWARE and SANI RINSE,also when the BOC button is pushed two dashes - - are displayed in the status window. If I push the cancel drain the number 2 is displayed in the status window and the unit will pump out water. What should be replaced or checked. Thanks for you help.
Answer Hello Russ. The two dahes means the door switches WP8269209 are bad and will need to be replaced. There is 2 on the unit. You can test them to see which one is bad. NC to COM should read closed and NO to COM should read open. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
