Mark for Model Number 66513759K602 Good morning, The Kenmore Elite Dishwasher Model Number 66513759K602 has drained the water out of the dishwasher, however, the Cleaning Light keeps blinking ( 7 times, pause, then 7 times, etc ) and pressing the Start/Resume button doesn't initiate the wash cycle. I ran the reset procedure ( Hold Hot Dry button for 4 seconds, pressed Normal Wash, Hot Dry, Normal Wash, Hot Dry waited 2 minutes for reset but it wouldn't reset the contriol panel. Does the control panel need replacement ? Thank you for your time and help in resolving this problem, your time and help is greatly appreciated.
Answer Mark, The clean light flashing 7 times is an error code that indicates that there is a problem with the heater circuit. You will want to check the heating element, thermistor or thermostat and wiring to the control board. If this all checks ok then the control is faulty and would need to be replaced. Read More...
