I initially purchased a door switch, thinking that it would solve the problem. I replaced the switch by removing the top 6 star screws, removing the component cover and removing one of the door switches (using a 3/16 socket) with the new one that I bought but I still had the problem. This is the electronic phase control board that regulates the motor speed in a stand mixer. It adjusts power delivery to the motor based on the speed setting selected by the user. I replaced the Board-Phas and speed control plate since power was not making it to the motor.
