Wayne C for Model Number KUDP02SRBL0 I sent a question earlier asking for advice about why my dishwasher has completely failed and smelled like it overheated. That was before I took the front panel off to have a look at the Thermal Fuse. I found that the circuit board was severely burned. It looks like it was actually on fire. The connector ends of some of the wiring harnesses that connected to the board were severely burned too. Does it make sense to replace the circuit bard, the wiring harness and the thermal fuse to repair this dishwasher? What else would I need to replace? What would cause such an electrical problem to begin with? Could there be a motor problem too that would lead to the electrical fire? I have had a several great experiences with Appliance Parts Pro for many of my appliance repair projects and appreciate your help and advice.
Answer Wayne, This issue could have been caused by a loose connection and would just need to replace the control board, harness and thermal fuse. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, February 14, 2017
