Alan for Model Number DU1055XTPQ4 Whirlpool Clean light blinks seven times then pauses then blinks seven times, etc. Manual says to push "Normal", "Heated Dry", Normal, "Heated Dry", which puts the dishwasher into diagnostic mode. Goes through testing everything lights flashing, and then resets. Dishwasher works for a few cycles or washes and then the Clean Light blinks again and we go through the same sequence. The dishwasher doesn't seem to clean very well anymore either. its only about 4 years old. We had a power surge which fried the microwave so am wondering if the control board is messed up? Answer Hello Alan. You will need to test the heater W10518394 and the thermostat WP661566. They should read closed for continuity. The code is for low water temperature. If both are good and the heater is working, you will need to get the water hot at the sink before starting the dishwasher. Hope this helps. Read More...
