Marco for Model Number DU1048XTPS4 Hello! The "normal" cycle led light keeps blinking and the dishwasher would not start with any program. Once I unplug it and plug it back on (after at least 20-20 min) sometimes it would start and run a washing program normally. Once finished, if I try to run it again after some hours, the led starts blinking again. I have been told it should be a short in the electronic control board but if so why it works sometimes? If it is completely shortened it should continue blinking. after turning off and back on the breaker, the cycle seems to work fine so i don't see any issue with the heater since water is correctly heated and everything is clean at the end. When I tried to run another cycle it went on blinking mode again. It seems to me more an electronic issue than an hardware problem: how can I be sure that is the control board? Is there anyway I can reset the board to be sure that is problem, without substituting it? Thanks.
Answer Hello Marco. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control panel WP3385731 is bad and needs to be replaced. If the buttons are non responsive and the light flashes, the tech sheet inside the unit will advise you to replace the control panel. Hope this helps. Read More...
