Michel for Model Number maytag mdb4709aws1 Hello, I turn on dishwasher at normal mode and dishwasher fill water perfect. The pump will start and after about 2minutes wash turn on drain pump and no water in dishwasher and run empty. I run a diagnostic mode same problem.heated dry,normal ect same problem. I think a mainboard failure.
Answer Michel, If the unit has water in it when it is washing but looses all the water between the wash and the drain cycle then you will want to make sure that the unit is not siphoning the water out when washing. Make sure that the drain line is raised to the bottom of the countertop to create an airgap or make sure that if the unit is hooked up to an air gap that the airgap is not clogged.
