Ron B. for Model Number MDBH969AWW1 It appears that the control panel needs replacing. Maytag's appliance service wants $129 just to show up. Then the part looks to cost nearly $150. That's getting close to the price of a new dishwasher. Can I replace the part myself? Is it just plug-and-play type?
Answer Ron, Yes, It's a project you can do yourself. Remove power to the dishwasher, open the door, remove the screws that attach the inner door panel to the door frame. Slowly separate the panels, label and disconnect the wires as needed. Unclip the control cover panel, then carefully unclip the control board from the control panel(a flat blade screwdriver works good tool the release the tabs). Reverse the procedure and test the dishwasher operation. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, September 30, 2013
