Mediumgroove for Model Number MDB8859AWW1 My dishwasher is roughly 6 years old; in Nov 2014, the hi-temp fuse blew; this restored the washer. It returned to functional ability however for the last two months regardless of setting from light to steam clean setting the washer will stop midcycle after 45-50 minutes of cleaning. I have run the field service without error several times (or at least it gets to the point that it shuts off, similar to what it does when washing--yet no visible error code from the display). I have checked the door, the lower fuse, the pump, and wiring. All have congruence and no visible signs of damage. The electronic control does make a very light humming sound, yet no signs of scaring or damage to the board. The drain hose is clear and the heating element gets hot however I have not tested the resistance of the element. Is this a control board problem or something else I can check before biting the bullet. Thank you in advance.
Answer Mediumgroove, Based on the information it would appear that the control board would be the cause for the failure. The control board part number is WPW10285180. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, February 2, 2015
