Rick for Model Number 24 in. DU1100XTP Built-in Dishwasher Whirlpool My dishwasher will not start. The drain works I poured water in to test it. I checked the float and it was free and clicks when you move it up and down. I checked the float switch and door switch for resistance they were all good as was the bimetal fuse. The keypad swiches all work, the lights above them come on but the start switch will not work and it will not run the diagnostic. I removed the ribbon from the control and when I restarted it after 5 seconds the drain came on for 2 minutes. So I am assuming that the control is good but the keypad is at fault. It is a $207 part because the keypad and console assembly are sold together. Am I right? Should I order this part?
