Kory C. for Model Number mdb6769aws1 I have power to the control panel , but no power to any of my buttons. Do I need to replace the control board and buttons or just the control board?
Answer Hello Kory, If there is no power to the buttons, the buttons cannot be at fault. There is the possibility that the ribbon cable has lost electrical connection. To see if this is the case, remove the ribbon cable from the control and use a normal pencil eraser on the traces. Be sure to rub the traces only in the direction they run so as not to damage them. If this does not restore normal operation, the control WPW10285180 will have to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, July 26, 2012
