Trey for Model Number Whirlpool Dishwasher DU840SWLQ0 2 Questions: First- I can't find this model# on the Whirlpool site, Google or your site as a correct model #. Second- The washing machine is running a full cycle but the door is not opening to release the soap. I pulled the door handle switches and there is a little discoloring on the metal connectors but nothing extreme. Do you think it's the switches or the timer? I have the part number for the switches but what is the part number for the timer if that's what you think it is? Thanks
Answer Trey, Since your dishwasher detergent and rinse dispenser are a "mechanical" operation, you'll need to dismantle the door assembly and control panel and check the timer, timer cam and cam follower.
