Heather for Model Number LSR8444LQ0 Just replace the drum support rollers about 2 weeks ago. Took the dryer back apart today because there is a rubbing squeaking sound. The rollers are shredding. The rubber is just being peeled off flake by flake on both sides. Any thought as to why?
Answer Hello Heather, You will need to use some rubbing alcohol on the roller shafts to remove residue from fabric softener sheets which gets rather sticky. This will cause the rollers to oppose rotation and damage the drum rollers. If the rollers are shredding, you will need to replace them again when the shafts are cleaned.
