Dan S. for Model Number LDG9206AAE This is a follow-up question in replacing my dryer drum rollers and bulkhead assembly. I received the parts and attached them successfully. But in reattaching the drum belt to the pulley assembly, the belt seems to rub against the L-shaped piece attached to the pulley. I viewed the diagram (http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/dryer-repair/25860-dryer-belt-diagrams.html) and I think I have it correct. The diagram does not show the L-piece but shows the belt going straight from the pulley to the drum. My assumption is that the belt should not rub on the L-piece. I’m thinking that maybe once the assembly is operational that the spring tension keeps the belt from rubbing, but I want to make sure before I reassemble the whole dryer. Any thoughts?
