Mike for Model Number mdg9700awm The black stuff on my dryer drum all melted off and was flung around the inside of the dryer. I got it all off with alot of time and elbow grease. I know I need a new drum, but my question is, why did this happen?
Answer Hello Mike. Check and see if the vent got kinked or clogged. If so, it can cause the unit to get to hot and it will release the sounds strips and cause this problem.
