Mike for Model Number Whirlpool GU940SCGQ3 I have a Whirlpool GU940SCGQ3; 3 months ago I notice the clean light did not illuminate at the end of the wash cycle. About 2 weeks later I noticed that the cycle status lights were dim; they continued to identify each stage of the wash cycle. All the different wash functions continued to operate normally. Then, after a week, the cycle status lights did not illuminate and the only wash function that operated was "china": this condition continued for about a month and then the dishwasher ceased to function. I replaced the thermal fuse and it's wires but, the washer still does not operate. So what is the next likely faulty part; the electric control or the console ?
Answer Mike, This sounds like it would be an issue of the control panel touchpad failing. If the touchpad is not sending the signal for what to do the unit will not operate. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, April 4, 2013
