Griff for Model Number KUISPR15HB6 Icemaker stopped making ice. It was determined that the compressor was shorted. It was replaced. Now the unit will not get past the cycle where water goes through the inlet valve and fills the reservoir then shuts the valve and the drain pump drains the overflow. This cycle continues forever. I put it in clean mode and the compressor starts and heats the plate and hot water flows over the plate for over an hour when I finally shut it off. There were no blinking LEDs but the cleaning LED did come on during it's cycle. NOTE: The compressor did come on and the plate started cooling after the new compressor was just installed and we turned on the unit for the first time. Then it stopped and didn't do it again in the last 3 days. The compressor relay has been replaced as well as the circulating pump. Can the control board be causing this? What can it be?
Answer Hello Griff. Yes, based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control board WP2304016 is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, September 28, 2011
