Dick Manteuffel for Model Number KEBS277 SBL1 Thanks for your previous answer! Now I wonder if the element is the problem. I checked the resistance with an ohm meter. There is continuity and it shows 25 ohm resistance. I checked that there is voltage (120volts)at the wires that connect to the element when the oven is on "bake" and no voltage when i change the dail broil or off. I'm wondering why it's 120 when the oven is in 240 circuit. Hope I'm not wearing out my welcome -- thanks for your help!!
Answer Dick, you're correct, You should read 240 VAC across the element wires with the control in a bake cycle. Apparently you have lost a power leg to the element. You most likely have an open thermal fuse located behind the control panel in the area of the door latch assembly 814505 or an open wire. Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
