Janice V. for Model Number NEA3G8DEV I assume the bake element went out because there was a buzzing noise and white smoke in the oven and just a little light on the back element left. Is it difficult to replace a bake element for someone with handyman talents? My husband usually does replacements of parts himself.
Answer Hello Janice. No, the bake element WPY04000041 is not hard to replace. Just make sure the power to the unit is disconnected before the repair is done. Remove the screws securing the element. Pull the element out and remove the wires. Reinstall with the new element in reverse order. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Saturday, October 8, 2011
