Dawn for Model Number REL 5646 AWO My mother has an old Roper dryer that just stopped drying the clothes. Could it be the heating elment?the serial no. is REL 5646 A. If it the heating elment which one would I need to get.
Answer Hello Dawn. Check and make sure you have 240 volts coming to the dryer. Also check the heater WP4391960 and thermal fuses 279769 and see if they are good. You can test these with a multi-meter MA-DM1. They should read closed for continuity. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
