Nigel for Model Number WFE550SOLZO Our lower bake element failed with a loud and scary noise while on the "clean" function for the first time. To access the element, "all you have to do" is to remove the right hand panel. OK, but how do you do that? I have loosened the rear part, but it looks like a lot more disassembly is needed on top and at the front. Don't want to disassemble the whole appliance. Help!
Answer Nigel, You will need to remove the main top of the unit to access the screws on top for the side panel. To do this, there should be a couple of screws on the top when you open the oven door. Remove these screws and remove the top. You will then remove the screws on the top of the side panel and slide the panel forward to remove.
