Steve for Model Number M#110.21202010 Kenmore top load washer. Does not fully spin out water. Underside looks good. Tub moves freely. No noises, goes through all cycles, but still leaves clothes wet. Was wondering if this could also be a timer issue. Is there anything else I can check?
Answer Steve, It's not likely a timer/control issue. You've done some of the basic checks, now make sure the drain hose isn't twisted or kinked, set too deep in the drain pipe, Make sure you use the proper type and amount of detergent and the washer isn't overloaded. You may have to remove and check the drain pump assembly and hoses to make sure there isn't any debris in the assembly(s).You may have to remove the shield and check that the belt is properly adjusted, and there's no oil or slippage from the belt.
