Wooty for Model Number lat9635aae WASHER HAS FILLED WITH WATER. ONCE WATER LEVEL WAS ESTABLISHED WATER STOPPED. BUT WILL NOT START TO WASH. THOUGHT MAYBE IT WAS THE SWITCH ON LID BUT THAT DID NOT HELP.
Answer Wooty, Did you check the inline fuse obn the lid switch for a "closed" circuit or 120 VAC on each side of the fuse? You also want to check for a closed "circuit" on the check switch (red wire to double yellow wires) with the lid down. If the switch is not closed, there won't be power to the motor and it won't run. and the other switch has to have a "closed" circuit from blck to the double red wires, or there won't be power to the check switch.
