Cindy for Model Number maytag MDBH949AWB1 I pulled on the floater and the tip broke off. I need to know if I can just push it down in there to install it and if I need to get that tip out. I don't know anything about this. Thanks
Answer Hello Cindy, If the float breaks, it should be replaced. If the float WP8268913 comes out of position it can cause water to go in the floor. Note that the float comes with the little push on retainer. To install it you will have to remove the kick panel and push on the little retainer. Read More...
