Barb, The vent could be the issue, but , you need to check the lower spray arm assembly WP8268874 If the spray arm is split, or the jet openings on the arm are clogged, the water can be mis directed and blow out the bottom of the door. Also check and make sure the door panel abd door hinges aren't bent or out of alignment. Thanks and Good Luck
