Don for Model Number GMC305PDS07 Hi - My broiler element stopped working so I bought a new element. While waiting to replace, I had the old one partially out (contactor exposed) and my wife unknowingly turned on the bake cycle. HUGE POP sound from the contact making a connection with the metal over interior, but the main circuit breaker did not trip. So, I replaced the broil element and it still doesn't work. Bake works fine, Microwave works fine, Controls show no error codes - just no broiler... Is there a fuse that could have popped internally or what could be stopping only the broiler from working still? Thanks!!
Answer Hello Don. No, it shorted out the control board 8302320. The board has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, March 3, 2015
