Tara for Model Number TSI18A3W Hello, My gasket seal is pushed out in the lower bottom left corner of my right-side opening fridge. Can I remove it and heat it say in a tub of hot water or the sun and reform it or will I have to replace the gasket? There is no rip or tear in it, just misshaped. Thanks much, Tara
Answer Tara, Yes you may want to try "flipping" the gasket and reinstalling it after a long soak in a tub of hot water. Once you have it installed again, you may want to apply a thin coat of "vaseline" to the hinge side of the gasket, wash the metal face flange with warm soapy water rinse and dry it, and apply a thin coat on the hinge side of the face flange as well.
