Bp I have a Kenmore Elite 665.17583200 we bought used a few months ago. The dishwasher recently stopped heating and I see a 2" burned/corroded spot on the heating element. I'm assuming that is the cause of the problem and it needs to be replaced. How likely is it to also need a fuse? If so, the link for the fuse part number provided to a previous questioner does not cross-reference to my Kenmore model. Can you tell me what fuse part number I need?
Answer Hello BP. Yes you will need to change the heating element. The fuse 8193762 listed on the Q&A's will work on your model. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, April 21, 2011
