Mike for Model Number Whirlpool RBD305PDQ10 I have to repeat the same question with respect to the difference between p/n 4455525 and p/n 4455523... what is the actual functional difference? Despite some documentation saying these are for models with two different finishes, Whirlpool parts list for my double oven says the 4455525 is for upper doors and 4455523 is for lower doors; it's all finished white. I replaced hinges on both doors back in May with the Whirlpool respective specified part numbers. The hinges actually looked the same to me, except the springs were a little different color. I don't really know what the outer finish of the oven would have to do with the two part numbers since you can't see the hinges once installed. In any event, now just 5 months later the lower door is not closing all the way again, so I'm wondering if there is some sort of difference in the tension/strength of the springs in the two parts? And might using the 4455525 part on the lower doors help I have also seen posts elsewhere from professional appliance repair people saying they have seen repeated quick failures of these hinges and weren't getting any help from Whirlpool.
Answer Hello Mike! Unfortunately, we do not have the specs available to verify the exact difference in the two door hinges listed for this model. I do apologize for the inconvenience. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, November 7, 2012
