Darrell for Model Number JJW8530DDS Door won't close all the way. Light stays on. How can I tell if it's the hinges or the receptacle or both?
Answer Darrell, The most likely cause for this issue will be a faulty hinge assembly. If the first 2 digits of you model number falls between 10 and 15 you will need part number 12002489 which comes with both receivers and hinges. If the serial number starts 16 or after then you will need part number WP74010283 for the hinges and they come 1 per package and per the factory will need to replace the receptacles also which are part number WP74011337.
