Richard C for Model Number JJW9530DDS Our Jenn Air oven the light stays on and the oven seems to take forever to heat up. I assume its down to weak hinges compromising the seal? Strangely enough when the oven is on I do not feel any heat escaping. In any case would you recommend I change the hinges? Answer Richard, The hinges would possibly be the issue with light not going off but could be a bad light switch too. If you push on the light switch, if it goes off then the hinges would be the issue. If not then the issue would most likely be with the relay on the control board keeping it on.
