Doug for Model Number KRSC503ESS00 Okay, I replaced the ice maker piece and it is still not making ice. Is there a diagnostic I can run to determine what the issue is? Do I need to reset something?
Answer Doug, there is a testing procedure that can be done from the user interface that will allow for testing the icemaker harvest and the icemaker water fill. What you will want to do before this test is ensure that the icemaker switch behind the ice bin is showing continuity when in the on position and that the bin sensing switch shows continuity when engaged. You will also want to check to ensure that there is not an ice build up in the water inlet tube to the icemaker.
