Jere Gauss for Model Number 106.51132213 Ice maker stops producing with just a couple layers of ice at the bottom of the reservoir. I can no longer get the supply of ice higher than that, even when activating the rapid ice option. I've noticed that often the rapid ice feature is shut off automatically not long after I've selected it. Other than that, everything seems to function normally. Water filter is fresh. When ice is being produced, it's produced quickly and with normal size cubes. But then it just stops. I've taped over the door light switch and the ice-reservoir installed switch to see if I could catch the sensors in action while the system is cycling. I found the "full" detection lever drops only an inch or so. Is that normal?
