Michael for Model Number mjhager58@gmail.com Whirlpool model WRS321SDHZ, the shut off plastic arm is stuck in the up position and there is no ice production. Pulled the unit out and disconnected the refrigerator. The arm is still stuck up on the icemaker.
Answer Michael, This icemaker arm is supposed to stay in the up position and the only time the arm will drop is during the harvest cycle. You will want to get the tech sheet from behind the kickplate and on there will be diagnostics for the icemaker. The emitter or receiver board will be the most likely cause for this issue.
