David for Model Number WRS588FIHZ00 Ice maker quit working for a second time in 2 years. The first time was a broken wire at the bottom of the freezer door which was repaired successfully. Checked the wiring at the bottom of the freezer door again and there are no broken wires. Running tests on 44 shows a code 12 (cycle off). Tests on 45 are all successful. Tests on 47 end with 11 (Temp cooler than harvest temp). Is this most likely an ice maker issue or control board issue?
Answer Hello David, If the icemaker has quit with ice in it, the problem is most likely caused by a failed icemaker assembly W10873791.
