It has been almost 24 hrs and still no ice and no activity whatsoever. When you recommend checking continuity of the bin switch. Are you referring to the on/off switch or the switch that is activated when the ice bucket is in. How do I check continuity to this switch?
Answer Tim, both switches can be tested for continuity. The bin switch would be tested directly at the part from terminal to terminal while the rocker arm is pressed in. It should have continuity. The on/off switch should have continuity when testing from terminal to terminal and it is in the on position. Both parts would be tested only when the refrigerator power cord is unplugged so that there is not voltage being applied to them.
