Sl for Model Number Kenmore 106.51133213 In door ice maker is a w1087379 I believe. Problem is that there seems to be water freezing in the bin, jamming the rotating dispenser. Also, I notice that some cubes are hollow. I'm guessing that the tray is turning over before the cubes are fully frozen, breaking them and allowing the not yet frozen water inside them to drain into the bin and freezing into a giant iceberg. Why? How do I fix it?
Answer SL, the ice maker W10873791 tray would need to be inspected for any cracks that may be allowing water to leak through to the ice bin. As there are only some of the cubes becoming hollow, it would also be recommended that the fill tube is checked for any ice accumulation that may be causing the water to not fill properly.
