Kirk for Model Number WRS571CIHZ01 Replaced the ice tray with a OEM factory ice tray, checked all the wiring from the bottom of freezer, appears not cuts in the wire covering and no kinks or smash damage, I made sure the plugs to ice maker off/on was tightly engaged and the other plug for tray - all plugged in and secure. The tech sheet was not in the tray at the bottom of the refrigerator when I removed the bottom cover. What next? No water is being discharged into the tray? Freezer and refrigerator are working normal. I have waited over 24 hours.............. TIA
Answer Hello Kirk, thank you for contacting AppliancePartsPros.com This might be wiring in the door LW11202405 that is the issue, but there are some tests to make 1st. You will need to enter diagnostics mode. Run test 44 with the ice bucket empty and in place first with the doors closed, if it shows 23 on the display after attempting to run the test then the wiring in the door is usually your issue if the ice maker has already been replaced. If test 44 runs the ice maker and shows 22 go to test 45, give it about 30 seconds or until the display shows 02, whichever comes 1st, before attempting the test. If the ice maker does not fill and you hear the valve activate then the valve WPW10341320 will need to be replaced. If the test acts like it is running but you are getting no reaction from the valve it is probably a control board W11293378. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, May 14, 2025
