Robert Wagner for Model Number Whirlpool EP-W10882923 ice maker I am having trouble removing the ice maker. First, the plug won't come loose even after I tore the little strips on the the side of the plug. Second, I can't seem to get the plastic clip on the bottom left side of the ice maker to release so I can remove the unit. Does the clip supposed to be pushed in or out to release the ice maker? Thanks for any help
Answer Robert, To slide the icemaker out you would pull the tab inward toward the center of the refrigerator. As for the harness, it is possible that there is ice around the connector causing it to be difficult to pull out but wiggling it when you pull should get it to come loose. It is a tight fit.
