Note: This replacement icemaker has a plastic tray on the bottom. If you are replacing this part the original icemaker you have to remove the plastic tray from this icemaker so the bracket will connect to hold the icemaker in place

Thomas, The first thing to check is to make sure that the icemaker is plugged into the rear wall of the freezer and that it is a firm connections. If the icemaker had been in the middle of a cycle it is possible that the icemaker fingers are stuck in ice in which you would want to pull the icemaker and clean the ice out. Pull the cover off the icemaker and check the pins in the center of the large gear in which if they are broken then replace the icemaker module W10190935.
