Chris for Model Number WRF736SDAM13 Hello, I recently replaced my ice maker after checking diagnostics and discovering motor was not working whatsoever. After replacing the ice maker, I’m still getting the E2 error code and the ice maker/motor fails to reach home position in either direction. Did I do something wrong on the install or could the new ice maker be defective also? Thanks in advance
Answer Hello Chris, unplug the ref from power for about 10 minutes to clear the current code, check the ice maker after 24 hours, if still no ice, rerun the test if the code came back likely the main control board is faulty.
