Steve for Model Number KRFF707ESS00 In the diagnostic test blower fan runs and I feel cold air coming through so voltage is good and so is the fan. Also the icemaker pulls water in it if I run the test on it. Problem is that the water becomes really cold inside icemaker but never freezes for it to become ice. What would cause that issue? I don't seem to have any cooling issues neither inside the freezer compartment nor fresh food compartment and I also don't have any error codes. Thanks.
Answer Steve, The most likely cause for this is that the fan is not running during normal operation even though it will run during the diagnostics. When this occurs the most likely cause will be a problem with the control board not sending voltage to the icemaker fan due to a faulty board. Read More...
