Brian for Model Number GSF26C4EXB02 I did the optics test. Red light is on steady. I used a jumper wire to test the old icemaker while holding in both door switches and pressing icemaker flap. Old icemaker would not cycle. Replaced the icemaker. Still no ice. Any thoughts? Thanks.
Answer Brian, with the door switch engaged and the emitter flap pressed in, you will want to test for voltage going to the icemaker. The most likely issue is that while the receiver W11813704 is showing that it is sensing the emitter W10870822 beam, it is not sending 120VAC to the icemaker. If there is not voltage going to the icemaker with the switches and flap pressed in, then the receiver has failed. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, June 13, 2019
