Craig for Model Number MGD7657BWW Our dryer wont get hot. I took the front panel off to investigate the problem, I checked the continuity in the igniter and also in the flame sensor finding none in both. I then checked the continuity in the high limit thermostat and the thermal fuse, they both appeared to be good. My next test might not be highly suggested, but I started the dryer to see what would happen. The igniter glowed for only a few seconds then sparked. After attempting the test again the igniter just sparked but didnt glow. Do I need to replace both the igniter and the flame sensor or should I start with just the igniter? Is it really possible that both could go out at the same time? Thanks for your time!
Answer Hello Craig. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the igniter WP33002789 and the flame sensor WP338906 will need to be replaced. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, July 21, 2011
